The Milford Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC) today rolled out a refresh of the organization’s brand identity, unveiling a new logo and tagline. Today’s unveiling marks the beginning of the evolution of the MACC’s brand. Designed in-house, the new visual identity presents the MACC as modern and evolving, while the tagline confidently underscores the focus of the organization. In addition to the logo and tagline, a redesigned website will go on-line before year end.

Representing hundreds of businesses in Bellingham, Franklin, Holliston, Hopedale, Hopkinton, Medway, Mendon, Milford, Millis, and Upton, the MACC wanted the new visual identity to represent the organization’s momentum and its members.  A bolded letter “M” anchors the new logo with 10 colorful squares set apart from it. These squares symbolize the towns represented by the MACC, while each of their vibrant colors is featured within the design of the letter’s shape.  “All our communities are distinct and unique, but when their individual strengths and attributes are combined, you create something much stronger and even more exciting. That’s the foundation of the Milford Area Chamber of Commerce,” said Laura O’Callaghan, MACC president and C.E.O.

O’Callaghan also said the staff wrestled with wording for the new tagline, carefully weighing several options in an effort to distill down the focus of the organization. “The tagline is only three words, but they’re powerful and are at the center of all we do each and every day for our members,” she said.
