Our client is currently seeking a Tech Hardware Sales Representative . This is a full time, permanent opportunity. Monday- Friday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm. The salary will be up to 75K+ commissions. Responsibilities of Tech Hardware Sales Representative: -Coordinate the efforts of the regional sales and distribution team for development of proposals on customer program requirements for film capacitors -Works with customers to develop customer specific solutions resulting in the design-in of products. -Analyze customer application requirements and work with Development Engineering to determine project feasibility -Analyze technological requirements for capacitors on installed applications, checking its technical resolution and working condition, and ability to make key recommendation to satisfy the requirement -Develop product and program implementation plans, works independently when required -Keep current with the latest technology -Track, monitor, and communicate the status of project and design activities -Build credibility with customer base so they continually use as a primary source. -Consistently provide product training for Sales reps and Distribution sales teams. -Participate in seminars, conferences, and meetings to promote group -Position requires some travel to customers within the assigned territory. Requirements and qualifications for Technical Sales Representative: -Bachelor’s Degree preferred; technical related field to power systems or electrical engineering experience/aptitude a plus -2-4 years direct sales experiences; and/or combination of education and experience -Experience in technical sales, preferably related to electronic design and/or component manufacturing -Requires good interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills -Must have good organizational skills for effectively communicating the commercial and technical specifications to achieve the customers’ expectations. -Excellent communication and relationship building skills at a customer level -Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
