Compensation & Benefits
Hourly – $14.00/hour. No health benefits offered.

Essential Job Description
The Membership Coordinator’s key role is to support our members to ensure a positive, successful relationship with the MACC. The MC is the point person for the new member onboarding process, while actively facilitating engagement opportunities for all Members. The MC will also answer phones, schedule community partners’ meetings, and work extensively within the Chamber’s member management system/database.
 
Major Areas of Responsibility
  • Execute outreach for first-year Members - communicating by phone and/or customized emails and one-one-one meetings recording touchpoints in member management system.
  • Coordinate membership programs and events as required.
  • Serve as staff liaison for Ambassadors Committee by scheduling and attending at monthly committee meetings. Prepare new member packets, coordinate distribution and log member touchpoints in database.
  • Collaborate with CEO on strategies to increase membership satisfaction and retention
  • Coordinate Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening schedule with Members and staff including updates to social media and MACC website calendar of events
  • Aid in identifying at-risk members and refer to Director of Membership and/or CEO.
  • Answer telephone calls and provide information as required.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.
     
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
  • Prior customer service or general business experience.
  • Must be self-motivated, results-oriented with a positive outlook and clear focus on high quality customer support; possess excellent time management skills; be credible and comfortable dealing with a broad spectrum of business industries and people.
  • Must be detail oriented and comfortable to make independent, sound decisions.
  • Ability to communicate – verbal, non-verbal and solid listening skills.
  • Proficient knowledge in MS Office products – Excel, MS Word, Publisher, and Outlook. Familiarity with CRM/member management systems a plus.
Physical requirements:
 
  • Lifting and carrying of items up to 50 pounds.  Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Performs tasks generally occurring in an office environment, including but not limited to:  Keyboarding, file retrieval, and communicating (verbal and written).
